Phom Union Mokokchung Town (PUMT) and Phomla Hoichem Mokokchung Unit (PHMU) have vehemently condemned the brutal murder of one Ester Phom, wife of Imtioza Ao resident of Yimyu ward Mokokchung, whose body was found on September 14. In a joint statement, PUMT president N Chuba and president PHMU Chongnyu said they were shocked by such cruelty and called upon all right-thinking citizens to condemn such act and also urged competent authority to expedite the investigation and arrest the culprit at the earliest.
