Pungro based NGOs repair road

After the government failed to repair the road between Cedeyewong village and Vongva village in Pungro sub-division, the Pungro based NGOs in collaboration with the administration repaired the road on their own.
According to Pungro Area College Students’ Union (PACSU), the NGOs and administration undertook repair work on April 25 with “free will donations”. In a press release, PACSU assembly secretary, K Mukamchem Yimkhiung stated that the road connecting Pungro Sub-Division and Kiphire district has been witnessing sinkage “unseasonably” thereby disturbing normal functioning of transportation.
