DIMAPUR: Sub Divisional Planning and Development Board (SDPDB) Pungro held its monthly meeting on August 10 at the SDPDB Conference Hall.
Chairman of SDPDB Pungro and advisor for Fire & Emergency Services, Home Guards & Civil Defence, Relief and Rehabilitation, S. Kiusumew Yimchunger welcomed the new members and urged them to be diligent and efficient in contributing to the growth of the sub division. He also encouraged members to bring forward proposals backed by proper research for the benefit of citizens.
Vice chairman of SDPDB and ADC Pungro, Hotolu Sema, reviewed the minutes of the previous meeting and presented the day’s agenda. After detailed deliberations, the house unanimously approved three proposals: construction of an assembly shade at GHSS Pungro, provision of tap water facilities at Khongsa Town, and resumption of NST service from Kiphire to Pungro ADC headquarters.
In his concluding remarks, the ADC directed Heads of Departments to prepare detailed presentations of their respective departments for the next SDPDB meeting.
