With the mission to provide humanitarian aid and support to those in need, Punjabi Youth Association (PYA) was officially formed under the motto “Recognize the whole race as one”.
A press release by the newly formed PYA infomed that the association would be led by Kawalijeet Singh as president, Pratek Singh (Kabir) as general secretary and Saurav Arora as treasurer. The release noted that the association would be working in and around Dimapur to assist people of all faiths and backgrounds, noting that the association strongly believed in recognizing the inherent unity of all humankind.
