AICC member and former NPCC president, K. V. Pusa on Saturday urged upon the Centre and the NSCN (I-M) engaged in the peace process to maintain transparency so that any misgivings should be removed.
Speaking at the inaugural programme of Nakimi Community House, Kezoma, at Midland, Kohima, Pusa said peace process should be transparent so that all groups should be taken onboard to find a lasting solution to the vexed Naga issue.
The senior congress leader also called upon all section of the people to extend support to the peace process.
Insisting that all sections of Naga people should be taken in to confidence towards a peaceful solution, Pusa said permanent peace would come only when all sections of people work together.
He further appealed to all Naga groups and NGOs to continue to work for peace and unity so that Naga society can progress in all spheres.
Pusa said there was no big or small in Naga society and asked people to do away with inferiority attitude and work together for the progress of the society. “Without unity society cannot progress”, he added. He also urged people to develop progressive mindset which would take them forward in all aspects.
