PVHHS holds annual prize giving ceremony

Pranab Vidyapith Higher Secondary School (PVHSS) Dimapur held its annual prize giving ceremony 2017-18 on January 1 at its school auditorium. 

A press release by PVHSS principal stated with Rev. Swamijis, dignitaries, parents, guardians, teachers, students and well-wishers. Swamiji garlanded the portrait of Acharya Srimat Swami Pranabanandaji Maharaj, founder of founder of Bharat Sevashram Sangha and floral tributes to late Manik Bhattacharjee, the founder secretary of PVHSS & his associate members late Hari Pada Sarkar, late K. P. Nandi, late Ashutosh Chakraborty & late Makhan Das. Rev. Swamijis also lighted the lamp. Sagar Dey of Cl-4 & Shrehadeep Malakar of Cl-10 presented a sketch of Swami Pranabanandaji Maharaj.
The annual school report was read out by PVHSS principal Monoj Bhattacharjee and gave information about the school in brief. Lakshman Chandra Das, founder headmaster of the school delivered a speech. The annual school magazine 2017-18 “The Pranabam” was inaugurated by Srimat Swami Biswapremanandaji Maharaj. Chairman of PVHSS, Srimat Swami Dhyaneshanandaji Maharaj, expressed his utmost satisfaction for the various performance of the school. 
Swami Chinmayanandaji Maharaj, secretary of the school gave the vote of thanks. Academic prizes were given to meritorious students for their outstanding results and also special prizes for cent-percent attendance to the teaching and non-teaching staff of the school. There was a variety programme consisting of songs, dances, recitations and a play. 
The meeting was conducted by Dilip Das assistant teacher and Gourab Deb, Cl-10 conducted the cultural programme.
