With an objective to manage waste and make the surrounding eco-friendly, a sanitary pad disposal machine was inaugurated by Inner Wheel Club Dimapur (IWCD) district chairman, Kakoli Chowdhury on November 28 at Pranabananda Women’s College (PWC) Dimapur.
A press release by IWCD informed that during the programme, Chowdhury talked about the verticals and goals of the club while president, Anamika Saha maintained that the club endeavours to provide free service and foster friendship.
IWCD secretary, Shobha Jain highlighted the projects taken up by the club during the tenure 2022-23 for the betterment of the society. She said the club undertook projects like cleanliness and beautification of Dimapur town, hygiene and medical help to women and children, providing educational aid to needy students and conducted various other programmes.
