PWD colony gate inaugurated in Kohima

DIMAPUR: Dr. Tseilhoutuo (Ato) Rhutso MLA inaugurated the newly constructed PWD Colony Gate in Ward No. 11 in Kohima on July 3.
The gate was constructed by Dr. Ato of 9th Kohima Town Assembly under Iconic Project 2025–26.
The gate is expected to serve as a landmark for residents while reflecting the vision of preserving community identity through public infrastructure.
The PWD Colony Gate is among several projects being implemented under the Iconic Project 2025–26, which focuses on creating durable and meaningful infrastructure across the 9th Kohima Town A/C.
Michael Neikha, Panchayat chairman Ward II PWD also addressed the gathering.
The programme was chaired by Eduzu Theluo, chairman Upper PWD, Kohima while Rev. Razouvizo Tetso, chairman, Angami CRC Council pronounced dedicatory prayer.
Vote of thanks was proposed by Dziesevituo Angami, chairman Lower PWD.
