Public Works Department (PWD) housing in its annual administrative report 2015-16, during general discussion on the budget 2016-17 on Friday highlighted major on-going projects. Ongoing projects include- construction of Chief Minister’s residential complex at Kohima, at a total cost Rs. 49.07 crores and expected to be completed during 2016-17. Construction of Nagaland house at RK Puram New Delhi and staff quarters phase I and II- Dwarka Nagaland state guest house at RK Puram Rs. 27.71 crores, staff quarters at Dwarka (phase I) at Rs. 46.57 crores and staff quarters at Dwarka (phase II) Rs. 32.91 Crores. Construction of Nagaland guest house-cum-emporium at Vashi Navi, Mumbai Rs. 20.58 crores, where the work completed in 2012, and waiting clearance from Navi Mumbai municipal corporation for taking occupancy of the building. Construction of PWD office complex at Dimapur at Rs. 868.38 lakhs, PWD office complex at Mokokchung at Rs. 6.54 progress and 11 ministers bungalow at Rs. 34.82 crores. The ongoing project also include construction of new high court complex at Kohima at Rs. 161.10 crores and construction of Nagaland information commission complex at Kohima at Rs. 15.35 crores.
