QMS/QMR workshop held in NBRC

A one-day workshop on Quality Management Standards and Quality Technology Tools (QMS/QMR) was organized by Federation of Indian Chamber of Commerce (FCCI) in collaboration with Indian Institute of Entrepreneurship (IIE) supported by Nagaland Bamboo Development Agency on February 11, at Nagaland Bamboo Resource Centre, Dimapur. The programme was assisted by National Manufacturing Competitiveness Programme (NMCP) under MSME, Government of India.
Resource person for the workshop was Er. Dipanjon Konwar, visiting faculty to Department of Management, Gauhati University, and Principal consultant and certified auditor quality management system ISO 9001-2008.
The programme was chaired by Er. Jonaed Alam, project coordinator, FICCI. Er. Lipongse Thongtsar, Deputy Team Leader, NBDA, delivered the key note address which was attended by entrepreneurs and representatives from various related departments.
The workshop was organized to enable manufacturing sectors to be competitive through maintaining quality management standards and quality technology tools relevant to help medium and small enterprises relating to bamboo and cane sector in the North eastern region of the country.
