Quake in Myanmar jolts parts of NE

A 5.5-magnitude earthquake, which struck Myanmar around 11:58 p.m. Thursday, jolted parts of North East region, but no causality or loss of property has been reported. 

According to US Geological Survey, the epicentre was located 44 km West-North-West of Monywa, Myanmar at a depth of 90km. Seismologists consider NE region as the sixth most earthquake-prone belt in the world.
