Quiz competition under SVEEP conducted in Tuensang

District administration and district election office Tuensang organised a quiz competition under System Voters Education and Electoral Participation (SVEEP) campaign at town hall Tuensang on Tuesday. 

According to a DIPR report, special guest of the programme, ADC & ERO Tuensang, Ajit Kumar Verma said that the history of governance faced many changes and evolution. He encouraged the students present in the programme to take responsibility as young voters and to take the lead in electing a leader.
The moment you attain the age of 18 you will have a legal right and will have a liberal to take part in the election processes he said.
ADC also informed that the idea of conducting a quiz competition under SVEEP campaign was to educate young voters about their roles in election processes and the importance of election.
During the competition, team Sao Chang Government College was declared winner while team St John Higher Secondary School and team Loyem Memorial College secured the second and third position respectively.
Earlier, the programme was chaired by AEO Tuensang Renben Mozhui while master trainer HP Gupta was the quiz master.
The competition was participated by students from Sao Chang Government College, St John Higher Secondary school, GHSS Thangjam, GHSS Tuensang and Loyem Memorial College.
