Based on specific information about the presence of underground cadres, a joint team of Kohima district administration, police, IRB and Assam Rifles Wednesday afternoon conducted raids at AG Colony, Kohima.
Police said the operation started around 3 p.m and continued till 5 p.m, with the combined forces numbering around 200 cordoning off the colony and conducting raids. However, official sources said no cadres were arrested or arms recovered.
