India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted isolated heavy rainfall in North East region during the next few days.
In its daily weather bulletin, IMD stated that light/moderate scattered to fairly widespread rainfall/thunderstorm with isolated heavy rainfall activity was very likely over Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram & Tripura during September 17-20; Assam & Meghalaya during September 18-20 and Arunachal Pradesh on September 20.
