India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted that light/moderate scattered to fairly widespread rainfall with thunderstorm/lightning was very likely over the North East region during next five days.
In its daily bulletin, India Meteorological Department informed that isolated heavy rainfall was very likely over Manipur and Mizoram on June 7 and Arunachal Pradesh, Assam and Meghalaya on June 10. Day temperature is very likely to be above normal by 4-6°Cover the region.
Meanwhile, Skymet Weather stated that a Cyclonic Circulation over the Bay of Bengal was expected to cause some rainfall over Northeast. Good rains are likely over Northeast India during the next few days, it stated.
