Rainfall likely over NE region

India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted heavy to very heavy rainfall at isolated places over Assam & Meghalaya and heavy rainfall at isolated places over Arunachal Pradesh, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura on June 23.

According to the IMD’s National Weather Forecasting Centre, heavy rainfall was very likely at isolated places over Assam and Meghalaya on June 22.

Further, heavy rainfall was likely at isolated places over West Bengal & Sikkim, Arunachal Pradesh, Assam & Meghalaya on June 24, India Meteorological Department said.

IMD also stated that no heat wave conditions were likely over any part of the country during the next five days.
