Scattered to fairly widespread rainfall with isolated thunderstorm/lightning is very likely over northeastern states during the first week.

According to India Meteorological Department (IMD), overall rainfall activity was very likely to above normal over Western Himalayan Region (WHR) and northeastern states during first week.

In the second week, above normal rainfall over northeastern states is very likely.

The maximum temperatures are likely to be above normal by 2-4°C over northeastern states during the second week.
