India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted that heavy to very heavy rainfall was likely to continue over North East region during September 22-23.
In its daily weather bulletin, the India Meteorological Department stated that light/moderate scattered to fairly widespread rainfall/thunderstorm with isolated heavy to very heavy rainfall activity was very likely over Arunachal Pradesh, Assam & Meghalaya, Nagaland & Manipur during September 21-24. It also predicted isolated extremely heavy rainfall over Assam & Meghalaya on September 21.
