RALOA holds executive meeting

DIMAPUR:

The Railway Affected Landowners’ Association (RALOA) convened an executive meeting on May 24, at the Hotel Jal Mahal conference hall in Dimapur to deliberate on the ongoing Dimapur Railways land dispute and chart a course of action.
During the meeting, the association expressed gratitude to CM, Dr. Neiphiu Rio, for raising the issue of the Dimapur railway land dispute during the recently concluded 14th session of the Nagaland Legislative Assembly. RALOA has earnestly appealed to the CM to take urgent steps to expedite all possible measures toward resolving the protracted dispute between the Indian Railways and the affected landowners.
The house unanimously resolved to send a delegation to New Delhi to meet with the Union Railway Minister and the Chairman of the Railway Board of India. The purpose of the visit will be to submit a formal representation and advocate for an early, amicable resolution to the issue.
