RARC Dimapur to coordinate International Day of Yoga 2025

The Regional Ayurveda Research Centre (RARC), Dimapur, under the Ministry of AYUSH, Government of India, will serve as the State Nodal Unit for coordinating the 10th International Day of Yoga (IDY) 2025 celebrations in Nagaland. The mega event is scheduled to be held on June 21 across more than 1,00,000 locations nationwide.
RARC, which operates under the Central Council for Research in Ayurvedic Sciences (CCRAS)– an autonomous body under the Ministry of AYUSH– will spearhead the initiative in the state, encouraging participation from all sectors.
This year’s theme, “YOGA SANGAM: India Moves As One,” envisions a united celebration where both urban metros and remote villages breathe and move together in a collective expression of well-being and harmony through yoga.
The Ministry of AYUSH has invited government and private institutions, schools, colleges, NGOs, and community groups to host local yoga events and join the nationwide movement. Interested organisers can register their events through the official Yoga Sangam portal at https://yoga.ayush.gov.in/yoga-sangam.
Organisers will receive an official Yoga Sangam Host Certificate as recognition of their contribution. Interested institutions can also download the toolkit: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1iRmU2qPHn0mjxGQyUYPJIX3Bt1oBIiMe and contact for details at: 8129514286, 8787607151.
