RBCC seizes illegal liquor

River Belt Colony Council (RBCC) conducted surprise checking within its jurisdiction and seized 17 bottles of assorted liquor from a paan shop on July 16. 

A press release by River Belt Colony, GB, Anthony Lotha and chairman, RBCC, T Mefu Imchen, stated that in this connection, five persons were apprehended, wherein, they were penalized as per colony council resolution, and further warned not to sell IMFL.  The release stated that they would be served a seven days notice to leave the colony if found involved in the same business. RBCC further cautioned that if anyone was found indulging in illegal sale of liquor in the colony, the individual or group will be severely dealt as per law.
