Rotary Club of Dimapur (RCD) held its 49th installation ceremony at Rotary Centre Dimapur on July 4, wherein handing over of charge for president and secretary was officiated by installation officer PDG Chandu Agarwal.
A press release from RCD stated that, the new charge of president and secretary were handed over to Kitoshi Zhimomi and Arijit Sharma respectively.
The outgoing president Ashok Agarwal thanked the members and his team for completion of successful tenure and assured to extend support to the new team.
Asistant governor zone 9 of Rotary Vijay Sharma also congratulated the new team, while installation officer PDG Chandu Agarwal congratulated the incoming team and briefed about the responsibilities one has to endure.
Kitoshi Zhimomi in her acceptance speech thanked the almighty and all the members and briefed on her journey of joining Rotary Club and the support which she has received from the members. She also mentioned that she has learned the aspect of rendering service through guidance, friendship and fellowship from Rotary and that she was motivated a lot. She promised to carry on the legacy of the good works that Rotary Club of Dimapur has performed till date and to take the club to new level by seeking the blessing of God.
Earlier, programme started with invocation prayer by pastor Nila Sing and vote of thanks was delivered by Sumit Patni and the meeting was adjourned by the president. Lucy Akokla was the MOC.
Meanwhile, the Rotaract Club Dimapur (RCD) also completed its 46th installation ceremony on July 5 at Rotary Centre Dimapur, with PDRR AG Vijay Sharma as the installation officer.
A press release from Rotaract Club Dimapur stated that, Nikhil Jain was the president and Manish Singh as secretary for the year 2020-2021.
