RCD organizes plantation drive

To mark the beginning of the Rotary Year 2024-25, Rotary Club of Dimapur (RCD) organized a project titled “Planting Trees to Make the World Pollution Free” on July 1. The club also celebrated the installation of the club’s 53rd president.


To commemorate the 53rd president installation, 53 trees were planted. The project was chaired by Rtn Pradeep Kr Goel. During the event, newly elected president Monoj Bhattacharjee highlighted the causes of global warming, the effects of deforestation, and climate change. He urged attendees to plant more trees and act as messengers to “save the environment.” Other speakers included Chandu Agarwal PDG, and Pradeep Kr Goel.
