Rotaract Club of Dimapur (RCD) jointly with Rotary Club of Dimapur in association with Dimapur Municipal Council (DMC) executed sanitisation drive at Dimapur on August 9.
A press release by Rotaract Club of Dimapur president, Nikhil Jain stated that, sanitisation drive covered public areas like Shyam Bazar, Signal Basti, Dhobinala Point G.S Road, Murgi Patti, Kalibari Road and Marwari Patti covering the area of almost 4 kms.
Rotaract Club of Dimapur also presented a small token under the banner SAMMAN – an initiative by Rotaract District 3240 to appreciate the corona fighters of Dimapur who helped in sanitising the area. All the four sanitary workers were presented with certificate by members of Rotary Club of Dimapur
Sanitisation drive was chaired and led by Heroto Yepthomi and Pankaj Giri of Rotaract Club of Dimapur and Sumit Kumar Patni of Rotary Club of Dimapur. Both presidents of the clubs, namely Kitoshi Zhimomi and Nikhil Jain were present during the drive.
