In a condemnation statement, RCYO expressed grave concern over the arrest of Akangkoba Ao, Gaon Bura (GB) of Residency Colony, as the third accused in the case. The organisation called for a transparent and impartial investigation, expedited trial, and prosecution under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act and other relevant laws.
RCYO extended solidarity with the survivor and her family, urging citizens to unite against sexual violence and child abuse. It demanded accountability and justice, stressing that such crimes must not be tolerated in society.
