Nagaland State VDB Association (NSVDBA) represented by its unit presidents has held its consultative meeting on March 26 with Secretary and staff of Rural Development in the latter’s conference hall.
During the meeting, RD secretary expressed confidence that Nagaland would see a new dawn of development in the villages through the initiative of the department and VDBs. He also encouraged the VDBs to dedicate themselves in working for the uplift of the villages.
RD Director, who also chaired the meeting, said the department has been working tirelessly for the uplift of the villagers in Nagaland and therefore advised the VDBs to work with the department in bringing all round development to the villages.
NSVDBA president, Tali, who spoke on behalf of the association, expressed gratitude to the department officials for addressing the needs of the VDBs.
Meanwhile, VDB Association has convened its next meeting on April 22 at Hotel Saramati, Dimapur, at 1 PM. The meeting would be hosted by Dimapur District VDB Association. All concerned are requested to submit their names for the raffle draw.
