Recruitment rally

A recruitment rally for enrollment of indigenous Nagas of Nagaland into 164 Inf Bn (Territorial Army) (H&H) Naga as Soldier General Duty (7 vacancies) and washer man (1 vacancy) would be held on July 24 and 25.
According to a press release issued by Rajya Sainik Board, a candidate should be Class VIII passed for soldier GD and Class V passed or above for washer man and between the age groups of 18 and 42 years (should not be married before the age of 21 years).
Educational and character (should not be six month old on the date of the rally) certificates, 12 numbers of colour passport size photo, permanent residential/indigenous certificates, certificate of Schedule Tribes (if applicable) and sponsor certificate (to be obtained from the Rajya Sainik Board, Kohima) are required for the rally.
