Refrain from hunting: GREEN-SONS

Green Succession of Nagaland State (GREEN-SONS) on Friday, asked all the “sensible” public of Nagaland to refrain from hunting “at least at this time of breeding seasons of wild birds and animals”, and to look forward to better conservation efforts.
In a statement, the organisation urged upon all the “intellectuals” to be thorough with the Wildlife protection Act of 1972 and to educate the masses.
Pointing out that the village council had a bigger role to play, GREEN-SONS also stated that as an environmental/wildlife conservationist organisation registered under Home department, it would maintain its position and work in accordance with the mainstream authority.
