Refresher course training for stenographers held in Kohima

Refresher course training for secretariat stenographers (grade-I, II, and III) initiated by home department and secretariat administration branch ‘A’ was conducted from July 4 to 14 at civil secretariat complex, Kohima.
According to a DIPR report, secretary, Home, Peter Lichamo, graced the first day and exhorted trainees to make use of such opportunities as it was meant to “re-learn the forgotten fundamental basics” and hone their skills to perform their assigned duties diligently, particularly, the new recruits.
During the training, resource persons covered a wide range of topics from office procedures to shorthand, etc. and a one-day course on basic internet was also imparted at NIELIT, Meriema campus. Feedback on behalf of trainees was given by Deo Movi after which president, Nagaland Secretariat Stenographers’ Association (NSSA), Joy Kochummen acknowledged finance and parent department for providing such training.
Later, vote of thanks was proposed by under secretary, Home, Niengulie Krome.
