Five more Commands and units of the Naga Army, GPRN/NSCN (Unification), after thorough deliberation on the prevailing situation, have extended their unwavering support to the leadership of ‘president, Gen. (Retd.)’ MB Neokpao Konyak, and ‘ato kilonser’, Alezo Venuh, till the aspiration of the Naga people is materialized.
In a press release GPRN/NSCN (Unification) through its MIP informed that the name of the Naga Army Commands and Units included Ao Region Command led by commander, Col. Tongpangnungshi and second-in-command Lieut. Takoklimba, Sumi Region Command led by Commander, Col. Hoikhu Zhimomi, commander and second-in-command, Maj. Vika Aye, Lotha Region Command led by commander, Col. Mhachan and second-in-command, Lieut. Maj. Thungro, Chakhesang Region Command led by commander, Lieut. Col. Sheveyi and second-in-command, Cap. Chevosa, and Angami Region Command led by commander Col. Pitovi.
