DIMAPUR: Department of Higher Education, Nagaland is implementing the Nagaland Government Ex Gratia Scheme for Students Studying Outside Nagaland (NGESSO), which provides an ex gratia of Rs. 5 lakh in the event of any unfortunate death of indigenous Naga students of Nagaland studying outside the state. To avail the scheme, students are required to register with the Directorate of Higher Education, Nagaland. For the academic year 2026 27, registration forms (fresh/renewal) and necessary information are available for download on the Directorate’s website: https://highereducation.nagaland.gov.in. The last date for receiving registration forms is September 30, 2026.
