All Commercial Vehicle Associations (ACVAs) of Wokha, Mokokchung, Tuensang, Longleng, Zunheboto and All Nagaland Taxi Association (ANTA) Phek and Peren unit have appealed the state government to release the pending bills to all aggrieved associations at the earliest.
In a joint statement, the associations reminded the concerned authority to honour its assurance, as the ‘chakka bandh’ had been called off in good faith and on the basis of the said assurance. The associations also reiterated the decision to implement pre-paid payment system during the forthcoming Lok Sabha polls 2024 so as to avoid similar crisis.
They further expressed gratitude to the frontal organisations, chambers of commerce, sub-units, public and individuals for their support and cooperation during the bandh.
