RMSA appointees (GT) 2013 under DEO Tuensang have come out in support of NRMSA 2013 to boycott classes from August 21, if the state government fails to release the pending salaries from March 2015– till date.
The teachers have appealed to the state government to release the salaries at the earliest, failing which, they would be compelled to take its own course of action that may even cripple the functioning of Government High Schools in the district. It said that the concerned authorities would be solely held responsible.
In a press release, RMSA appointees (GT) 2013 said in spite of all the hard work and dedication of the teachers without salary, the aggrieved teachers were deeply anguished by the “false promises” made by Education department.
RMSA appointees cautioned that the Education Department will be directly responsible for hampering the “bright future of Nagaland” if they continue with such inhumane treatment.
The aggrieved teachers also questioned why the State Government was unable to submit the “Utilization Certificate” to the Centre?
Further, the aggrieved teachers also requested the NGOs, PTA and students’ organisations to intervene and solve this issue at the earliest.
