Reliance, Google partner to boost AI adoption in India

DIMAPUR

Reliance Industries Limited (RIL), through Reliance Intelligence Limited, and Google have announced a strategic partnership to advance the adoption of Artificial Intelligence (AI) across India, aligned with Reliance’s AI for All vision.
The collaboration combines Reliance’s vast digital ecosystem with Google’s leading AI capabilities to democratize AI access for consumers, enterprises, and developers.
As part of the partnership, Google AI Pro for Jio users will be rolled out free for 18 months, offering access to the latest Gemini 2.5 Pro model, advanced creative tools, and 2 TB cloud storage—valued at Rs. 35,100. Early access begins for Jio users aged 18–25 on unlimited 5G plans via the MyJio app.
Reliance and Google Cloud will also expand access to AI hardware accelerators (TPUs), boosting India’s sovereign compute capabilities and enabling faster AI innovation.
Additionally, Reliance Intelligence will serve as a go-to-market partner for Gemini Enterprise, bringing advanced Artificial Intelligence solutions to Indian businesses.
