The Nagaland University Research Scholars’ Forum (NURSF), Kohima Campus, has launched a five-day national webinar on Research Methodology from May 27 to May 31, 2025.
The webinar started on May 27 with an inaugural session featuring Nagaland University Vice-Chancellor Prof. J.K. Patnaik as chief guest and Prof. Jano S. Liegise as special guest. Both highlighted the importance of research methodology in academic success and praised NURSF Kohima Campus for promoting research culture among scholars. Limala Longchar, research scholar from the department of English, chaired the session. Sakilur Rahman, president of NURSF and Webinar Convenor, delivered the welcome address. The first technical session featured Prof. Bibhash Choudhury from Gauhati University, who gave a thought-provoking lecture on research methodology. The webinar has attracted 150 scholars from universities across India and international institutions. Upcoming sessions will feature expert speakers like Prof. Ranjit Singh (IIIT Allahabad), Dr. M.R.N. Babu, Dr. Dhrubajyoti Bordoloi, and Dr. Perumalraja R from Nagaland University, Kohima Campus.
The initiative by NURSF Kohima Campus was to enhance research skills among scholars, demonstrating a strong commitment to academic excellence and knowledge-sharing. The forum has been actively organizing webinars and workshops since April 2025.
