To ensure the smooth execution of the ongoing Mon — Tizit road maintenance work, DC, Mon, Ajit Kumar Verma has imposed restrictions for strict compliance. According to DIPR, all types of vehicles including private and public transportation have been prohibited from using the Longwa junction to private station traffic point from 6pm to 6am with effect from November 3, 2023 for a period of one week.
Public/ vehicles owners have been strictly prohibited from parking their vehicles along the same stretch. Residents/shop owners along the stretch, have also been directed to remove any hindrances that may obstruct the ongoing project along the right of way by November 4.
Meanwhile, Ward authorities of Thamnan Ward, Jahjon Ward, Chingai Ward and Santham Ward have been requested to assist district administration, police in the implementation of the order.
