Rev. Dr. Lima Jamir elected new CBCNEI president

DIMAPUR: The Council of Baptist Churches in Northeast India (CBCNEI) has announced the selection of Rev. Dr. Lima Jamir, associate pastor of Dimapur Ao Baptist Arogo (DABA), as its new president for the term 2026–2029.
Rev. Dr. Jamir succeeded Rev. Dr. Onesima Anal, who served the council with dedication and commitment. In a press release, CBCNEI expressed gratitude for the outgoing president’s invaluable leadership and contributions.
The council stated that Rev. Dr. Jamir brings years of experience, wisdom and a deep commitment to the vision and mission of CBCNEI. It expressed confidence that under his leadership, the council would continue to grow in unity, service and fruitfulness for the advancement of ministry and the welfare of the community.
CBCNEI requested all member churches, associations and affiliated organisations to uphold the new president in prayer and extend full cooperation as he assumes office.
