Review meeting on Integrated Eri Silk Development Project (IESDP) under NERTPS for state level stakeholders was held on July 14 at conference hall directorate of Sericulture.
In the meeting, secretary sericulture, Kenilo Apon, spoke about the ongoing project in the district which he said was for upliftment of women empowerment and sustainable livelihood. Apon encouraged the women beneficiaries to avail maximum benefits through various components of the programme.
The meeting was chaired by joint director, Asangla Alinger, who also welcomed all the officials and the beneficiaries. The keynote address was delivered by director of Sericulture, Imtisosang Ao. Altogether 85 beneficiaries from four blocks of Kohima district and officers from the department attended the programme.
