Rhujung team trounced Doyang FC in a tie break by 9 goals to 8 after both the teams were locked at 0-0, at the 7th edition of Kohima Lotha Hoho Tokhü (KLHT) football tournament.
The football tourney culminated at new police reserve football ground, Phesama on Saturday. Altogether, 14 teams participated in the tournament.
Speaking at the culmination programme, match patron Kohima Lotha Hoho (KLH) chairman K N Mhonthung Lotha encouraged the players to uplift and take further steps to build better and stronger relation in the days to come through sports.
He also lauded the organizing committee for taking the initiative to bring unity and brotherhood through sports and providing platforms to the players. The award and certificates were also handed over by the match patron.
Best goal keeper was awarded to Benthungo, best defence- L Yanbemo Ezung, best midfielder- Nzanbemo and player of the tournament was bagged to Robert Shitiri.
Furthermore, the organizing members thanked Goldfinch New reserve for their tiredless effort and contribution towards the success of the tourney. They also thanked the sponsors and well-wishers for extending their support and cooperation. Khonthungo Odyuo gave benediction.
