Nagaland chief minister, Neiphiu Rio on Thursday called on Union Home minister, Rajnath Singh at his office chambers discussed with various issues concerning Nagaland.
Rio apprised Rajnath about the situation in the state and the issues on which the state government required the support of the Centre, such as improvement of police infrastructure etc. During the meeting, the chief minister also apprised Rajnath Singh of the security situation in the North Eastern state, a spokesperson said.
The meeting was also attended minister of state for Home, Hansraj Gangaram Ahir, union Home secretary Rajiv Gauba and senior officers from MHA and Nagaland government.
