Chief minister Neiphiu Rio and Lok Sabha MP Wangyuh Konyak have condoled the death of former State BJP president Dr. N Rhetso who passed away Sunday morning at AIIMS, New Delhi, after a prolonged illness. Rio in a condolence message said Dr. Rhetso had “left an indelible mark on the social fabric of Nagaland for his immense contributions to society as a politician.” Wangyuh in a separate condolence message issued by his press secretary Basu Damani, said Dr. Rhetso was a “very close friend” and said his untimely demise was a great blow to the BJP in particular.
