DIMAPUR: As part of the ongoing Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of Electoral Rolls 2026, the Supervisor and Booth Level Officer (BLO) of Polling Station No. 11/5 handed over the Enumeration Form to chief minister Dr. Neiphiu Rio at his Chief Minister’s Residential Complex (CMRC), Kohima, on August 17.
According to a DIPR report, the exercise forms part of the electoral enumeration process being undertaken by the Election Department across the state to ensure updation and verification of electoral records.
The SIR process involves house to house verification and distribution/collection of Enumeration Forms by BLOs under the supervision of designated officials. The exercise aims to ensure that the electoral roll remains accurate, updated and inclusive.
