Neiphiu Rio reviews Lower Tizu Hydro Project

A delegation of legislators and officials led by state chief minister, Neiphiu Rio reviewed the Lower Tizu Hydro Project on their way to Mimi village on January 30, 2025.


According to DIPR, accompanying the chief minister was minister of Power and Parliamentary Affairs K.G. Kenye; minister of Tourism and Higher Education, Temjen Imna Along; minister of Rural Development & SIRD, Metsubo Jamir; advisor for Geology & Mining and DUDA, W. Chingang Konyak; advisor, NRE & NSDMA, Z. Nyusietho Nyuthe; Advisor for Fire and Emergency Services, Home Guard & Civil Defence, S. Kiusumew Yimkhiung; Benei M. Lamthiu MLA; chief secretary, Dr. J. Alam; Commissioner & Secretary of Geology and Mining, I. Himato Zhimomi, and General Manager of NST, Shikaho P Yeptho.
They also interacted with stakeholders at the proposed Lower Tizu Hydro Electric Project (42 MW).
