RMSA Teachers 2013 Dimapur unit appeals

RMSA Teachers 2013, Dimapur unit has appealed to the state government to expedite the process of salary disbursement.

In a press release, RMSA Teachers 2013, Dimapur unit, claimed that irregular payment of salary over the years due to the “indifferent attitude” by the concerned authorities compelled the teachers to deprive their families of enjoying the festive seasons.

The unit alleged that apart from their children’s future which was at stake due to pending admissions, the teachers have “to hide from creditors on every turn and facing mockery and abuse, unable to pay rents which are long overdue, facing financial problems travelling to work have become a part and parcel of our lives”.

The teachers also claimed that basic necessities have become a huge burden, as they cannot even plan for the future like opening various insurance schemes.

It therefore, questioned the government “where is their sincerity and dedication in giving us our basic salary regularly”.

They pointed out that when government published the absorption of SSA 2010 and 2013 and RMSA 2013 batches into the mainstream in local media, it gave a beacon of hope.

However, RMSA Teachers 2013 raised doubt as to when absorption would come into effect when even the processing and payment of salary was taking such a long time.
