There has been a visible sign of developmental activities in the remote area initiated and taken up by T Torechu MLA of 60 A/C Pungro- Kiphire. One such among them was the construction of road at Sangtsong village, which falls under 57th A/C Thonoknyu.
Hothrong Manday, former VDB secretary, on behalf of public, has expressed gratitude to Torechu for his ‘philanthropic initiative’ for reaching the road in the village thereby creating a landmark history as villagers were living in a pathetic economical condition since the recognition of village. With the road connectivity now, the villagers could export their product and ameliorate their living standard.
