Road monoliths erected in Dimapur

Chairman, Sumi Council Dimapur (SCD), Kuhoi Zhimomi on Saturday unveiled monoliths naming two roads in Dimapur. The monoliths were erected by SCD in honour of the two leaders. 
I. Vikheshe Sumi Road covers the stretch from Clock Tower Junction to Tragopan Junction and the monolith has been erected at Tragopan Junction; Dr. Hokishe Sema Road covers the stretch from Dhobinalla (Jakhalu Complex) to Thahekhu Junction and its monolith has been erected at Dhobinalla junction. The monolith at Tragopan Junction was erected in honour of Lt. I. Vikheshe Sumi, former minister “for his selfless works to the society.” The monolith at Dhobinalla Junction was erected in honour of Lt. Dr. Hokishe Sema “an upright and honest pioneer of Nagaland hailing who served the people of Nagaland as Administrative Officer, MLA, Minister, Chief Minister of Nagaland and Governor of Himachal Pradesh.”
