The Road Over Bridge (ROB) near Hotel Tragopan, Dimapur will be open for all vehicular movement from February 2, following the completion of rehabilitation works, as per an official order issued by Commissioner of Police Dimapur, Kevithuto Sophie.
In this regard, CP has issued traffic advisory to streamline movement:
One-way traffic to continue: The route from Deluxe Point to Holy Cross Police Point will remain one-way. The route from Khermahal to Deluxe Point will also continue as one-way.
Auto-rickshaws, auto pick-ups, and tata mobiles will not be allowed on the new flyover (Tourist Lodge Point to Deluxe Point and vice versa) from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Entry of heavy vehicles from New Field Inter-State Check Gate into Dimapur district will be permitted only from 7 p.m. to 9 a.m. daily.
All other one-way traffic regulations imposed during the ROB rehabilitation will be lifted, and traffic will function as per previous regulations. CP said that the order will take effect from 7 a.m. on February 2, and subject to changes based on traffic feasibility and convenience.
