The Rengma Public Organisation Kohima (RPOK) held its general conference on May 30 at RCEMPA hall, Jotsoma. The conference was graced by DUDA commissioner & secretary and tribal affairs, Kenilo Apon, as the special guest.
Convener search committee, Pollem Tep, presented the new RPOK office bearers for 2025-2028 tenure. The new team will led by Peter Seb as president and KK Rengma as general secretary, along with 7 members and 3 advisors.
The program was chaired by VP RPOK, Er. Kolevi Kent, invocation by associate pastor general RBCK, Lechito Tep, presidential address by RPOK president, K. Gwanilo Himb. Khiwamo Kath and KK Rengma gave the audit and secretary reports. The vote of thanks was delivered by RPOK, VP, Kegwanyo Tep. The program also featured presentation by Ronnye Kent & friends and a folk song by Tesophenyu cultural group Kohima.
