RPP clarion call for change, to usher in ‘new Nagaland’

Rising People’s Party (RPP) has called upon the people of Nagaland, especially the youth, women and right-thinking leaders, to come forward to fight together for a “new Nagaland” and also pray and support its candidates contesting the upcoming Assembly elections.
In a communiqué, RPP stated that it believed that a public uprising of fresh new leaders with a tribal/regional mindset was the only option for progress, development and safeguarding people’s identity, culture, tradition and religious practices.
RPP recalled that it had appealed on numerous occasions to the people of Nagaland the importance of “electing honest and God-fearing candidates” and nominate such individuals from their respective constituencies to bring about true change that they all envisioned.
The party said that it stood on the belief that unless God-fearing young men and women rose to lead people, Nagaland would remain the same for another five years and the change in the system everyone aspired for would continue to be just a mere dream.
RPP also thanked the people for putting their trust on its ideology as the 14th Nagaland Legislative Assembly election drew nearer. It claimed that from day one of its inception it had been advocating good governance, rule of law, self-reliant economy, women & youth empowerment and clean election, while reaffirming its vision for a “New Nagaland.
