Rising People’s Party (RPP) has urged the Naga youth to be vigilant and report anomalies, if any, in implementation of Central projects to the party.
RPP in a statement said that the Centre was pumping in hundreds of crores of rupees every year for numerous projects in the State, though the ground reality seemed to be different.
Furnishing a list of 18 such projects sanctioned and showing the amount released against each in 2019-2020 under Union tribal affairs ministry, RPP appealed to spirited individuals and youth/student bodies of the respective areas (See table) to undertake inspection tours of the project areas and check the status of the projects.
Doubting that in many cases money might have been fraudulent withdrawn without implementation of the work, RPP requested that all reports on anomalies may be emailed to its email id risingpeoplesparty@gmail.comfor further action to be taken by it. Basing on the people’s report, RPP assured that it would file FIRs with the State Lokayukta.
